This Privacy Policy explains how Davut Temel ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PetLens AI mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account data: your email address, name (optional), and a securely hashed password.
Pet profiles: information you enter about your pets (name, species, breed, age, weight, allergies, medical conditions) and optional pet photos.
Scans & health data: photos you submit for analysis, AI-generated results, weight logs, symptom logs, and reminders.
Subscription data: your plan status. Payments are processed by Apple, Google and RevenueCat — we do not receive or store your card details.
Technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

To provide the App's features (pet profiles, AI scans, reminders, health tracking).
To process images through our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate informational observations.
To manage your account, subscription status, and support requests.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

AI processing

Photos you submit for a scan are sent to OpenAI for analysis and returned as informational observations. Results are not a veterinary diagnosis. See OpenAI's policies for how they handle data. We do not use your data to train models.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the App (e.g. OpenAI for image analysis; Apple, Google and RevenueCat for subscriptions; our hosting provider). We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app (More → Delete account), which permanently removes your account, pets, scans, images, reminders, and health/symptom logs. You may also email us at info@destekbilisim.net to request deletion.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/KVKK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at info@destekbilisim.net.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions use signed tokens, and traffic should be served over HTTPS in production. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
